Seems like most of the news today is aircraft carrier related….
“The aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN-75) is done! 16.4 Feet long. 200,000 Bricks, movable elevators and radar dishes, electric lights on the flight deck, in the hangar, and inside the aircraft, a motorized catapult!”
The Oriskany, a decommissioned aircraft carrier, was sunk 24 miles off the coast of Pensacola, Fla., on May 17 to form an artificial reef. The sinking of the 888-foot ship took 37 minutes.

Thirty-three percent of respondents couldn’t pinpoint Louisiana on a map.

So Stephen Colbert basically killed at the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner on Saturday. The people in attendance didn’t seem so thrilled, but I thought it was pretty funny (and a little too true for those present). The press didn’t give it much coverage, but there are pieces of it here and there.
