ej’s feed-o-matic
I’ve added a small section to the blog tonite. I’ve added “feeds” to a few of the places I frequent, which are: del.icio.us, digg and this blog (of course).
If you’re not familiar with feeds yet, you will be…just give it time. Check out this Wikipedia article to get yourself familiarized.
Once you really start working the web, and get used to life with feeds, you’ll never go back. It’s the most efficient way to consume mountains of information quickly.
So, if you want to subscribe to any of those feeds (they’re on the right column, near the bottom), just click on the link and it will take you to FeedBurner, where you can add it to popular web-based news readers (My Yahoo! is a good choice). If you’re using Firefox and want to use that as your feed reader, you can add these feeds there also. Check out this page for details on how to add a “Live Bookmark” to your Bookmarks folder.
Now that you know a little about feeds, go forth and add feeds with wild abandon! Keep your eyes out for this image, it will let you know that a feed for the content you’re viewing is available.
