The box that used to power danker.org had seen better days, so I retired it this past weekend. While I was migrating all the old content from that server to this one, I decided to get everything up-2-date. One consequence of that is that I’ve switched blogging software from MovableType to WordPress.
My main motivation is it appears that WordPress has better capibilities for dealing with comment-spam.
So far, so good!
Think of the absolute most totally whacked-out people you know….I’m sure they won’t compare to these 2 twins.
I was somewhat disappointed with the crop of Super Bowl ads this year. If you want to give them a whirl, check out:

Ugh…there’s always this minority of douchebags (pardon my french) on the internet that make everything difficult for the 99% of us that just want to get something useful out of it w/o too much hassle.
Everybody knows about “normal” spammers…the ones that fill your Inbox with herbal viagra ads and such. Well, they’ve also turned their attention to the comments section on blogs. So I’ve had to devote a significant amount of time lately to go in and clean out their comments from the good ones. Not many people ever comment on the blog, so for now, I’m just going to turn comments off. When I have more time to create a more permanent solution, I’ll let you know.
