The New Monitor

So….got myself a new LCD monitor this week. I’ve been looking at them for over a year, so it was finally time to bite-the-bullet and get one. I got a Dell 1901FP Monitor….it’s pretty sweet thus far. I would liken the experience to the first time I heard a CD when I was a kid…once you’ve experienced something clearly superior, it’s pretty hard to go back. (Try TiVo, and you’ll understand what I mean).
I’ve posted a couple pics below. The top-down picture is the most telling for me. My old monitor pushed all the way against, the back wall…the difference in desktop real estate is striking. The only con so far is that I do a bit of gaming on my PC and when the action gets going, you can see some streaking. Somehow, I’ll manage.
