The Meow Mixes

One of my favorite bands is Guster.

Today I bought their new album, Keep it Together. It’s pretty good, but if you’re not a long time gusteroid, you would probably be better served with Lost and Gone Forever.

Anyway…As an attempt to thwart the rampant downloading of their newest album before it was released, the band leaked all of their songs onto the net, but instead of the normal lyrics, it’s just the guys meowing. I seriously thought I was pull something the first time I heard it….it’s that good.

My favorite renditions are: Amsterdam and Red Oyster Cult.

Other notables are: Diane and Romona.

Star Wars Kid

So I finally got a link sent to me about the “Star Wars Kid” video that’s been circling the net. Basically it’s some kid that made some video of him whipping around a baton acting like a ninja, then some dudes found it and added star wars effects to it. It’s funny, but watch the unedited version…then the remix for the full effect.
